PROCESS: Spines + pages lit up to simulate marquee lights, and various parts of titles lit up.
-Created pounces for all covers and spines.
-Painted all spines and pages as tranclucencies on muslin.
-wrapped on Sono tube to get curve- pounces used to create light boxes.
-Covers skim coated, primed, based
-used cut rollers for texture w/ glazes
-used pounces, details hand painted
-sealed x2 w/ flat
-pages were muslin wrapped on luan (some with cut outs)
-used wash w/ cut chip brush (basically graining) for pages

PROCESS:
WALLS: Prime, Base, Tape out, brush on glazes/water, sponge and rag for continued aging and distressing
​
FLOOR: Prime, base light grey, rag roll grey and white, lay out grid for green lines, base green lines, rag roll green lines with light green, line every three inches both directions with FEV, stamp tiles, heavier on first pass with darker tinted colors, lighter on second pass with desired colors to create dimension, seal whole deck, distress and create "beer stains" with shellac

Prime, base, measure and snap lines, paint in brush strokes (meant to have rough sketchy feel, as if one long quick brush stroke), paynes grey and black sprays, seal semi-gloss (floors) and flat (walls)

-measure and lay out lines with chalk
-base lines with yellow
-line with gold
-seal whole floor with semi-gloss (x2 coats)

-spray paint corrugated plastic sheeting

-Base wood detail w/ dark grey
-sponge all gold (dark, light, straight gold)
-seal
-touch ups once bolted together

PROCESS:
Prime, base, create stucco texture by spraying paint and JC mixture through pneumatic hopper, knock down peaks with putty knife, wet blend blue to purple (facing downstage) and yellow to pink (facing onstage), wet blend 4 glazes over all, dirty water spray over all, dry brush highlight, spray sealer.

PROCESS:
-Frames w/ foam received from carpenters.
-Use wire foam cutter to cut foam on angle.
-Use palm & belt sander to smooth
-skim coat & patch with "pink mix" (plaster weld, 30 min JC powder, water)
-3 coats of resin & Aquaveil, sanding as each layer dried.
-quick skim coat of pink mix on any large disparities
-skim coat of hot mix
-sand
-test fit platforms & sand/patch to match
-skim coat lower section
-x2 coats Aqualock white on top section, black on lower section
-after installation, patched seams & painted
-touch ups
